Ashwat Rishi is an Associate at Cooper & Dunham LLP, a boutique intellectual property law firm, where he focuses primarily on patent prosecution and litigation. Ashwat received a J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was a recipient of the Monrad Paulson Scholarship. During law school, Ashwat participated in the Kathryn O. Greenberg Immigration Justice Clinic.
Prior to law school, Ashwat worked as a research assistant in energy policy, served on the board of a non-profit organization focusing on renewable energy based international development, and co-founded a non-profit organization focusing on grassroots environmental education. Ashwat received a B.S., summa cum laude, in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and a B.A., magna cum laude, in Economics from Rutgers University.
