Brianne Strom recently joined the real estate, construction, and hospitality practice at Ernst & Young as a Senior Accountant in assurance. Ernst and Young has the largest real estate, construction, and hospitality practice of any accounting organization, leading the big four firms in percentage of market value audited for the companies on the Forbes Global 2000 list. The practice services real estate owners, investors, lenders, and users including funds, REITS, developers, and homebuilders.
Prior to Ernst and Young, Brianne spent three years working at WithumSmith+Brown, a New Jersey based mid-size regional accounting firm. While there, Brianne worked in assurance services and tax services. Within assurance services, Brianne was exposed to a wide range of industries including consumer products, government, manufacturing, distribution, transportation, not-for-profit, and real estate. At Withum, she also prepared federal and multi-state tax returns for corporations, sub chapter s corporations, partnerships, trust and estate, not-for- profit organizations, and high net worth individuals. Brianne is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New Jersey. Prior to WithumSmith+Brown, Brianne was a tax intern at a national accounting firm, CBIZ.
In May 2011, Brianne graduated magna cum laude from West Chester University with a BS in Accounting. She started her college education in an international affairs honors program at The Ohio State University. After her freshman year at The Ohio State University, Brianne transferred to West Chester University.
Brianne is a member of the International Volunteer HQ Program. Through this program, Brianne spent two weeks in India volunteering at an orphanage in a remote town outside of Delhi.
