I attend Seton Hall University, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I have always had a deep passion for improving the quality of life for young people. This passion stemmed primarily from my work as an active youth leader for my church. However, when a family member was diagnosed with schizophrenia, my interest in mental health skyrocketed. My studies gave me a deeper understanding of the impact of biological and environmental factors on one’s overall health and achievement.
In the future, I wish to be a school psychologist, which will satisfy my love for both the health and education. industries. I hope to one day guide young people, helping them see life’s hurdles as a positive opportunity to show resilience, and not just something that blocks them from achieving their dreams.
