I attend Montclair State University, pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business and a minor in Russian. As an individual who values education, experience, and global citizenship, it was not difficult to pair my major and minor with one another. I am fluent in English and Spanish, intermediate Russian, and a novice in Portuguese, Mandarin, and Arabic. Being multilingual is an asset in my desired career; I would like to work in national security with either a government agency or a multinational corporation.
During high school, I participated in international community service projects during the summer. I’ve interned with both the U.S. Department of State and the office of U.S. Senator Robert Menendez, Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. I am also a member of AmeriCorps at my university. These experiences and others fuel my desire to be a global professional. I hope to gain insight into U.S. foreign policy and diplomacy, and explore career opportunities where I can represent the United States of America in the world.
