Ely

I attend Saint Peter’s University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. I grew up in the Dominican Republic, moved to the United States when I was 10 years old, and attended high school in Union City, New Jersey. I’ve always been involved in many extra-curricular activities, and continue to do so now.  I am President of the Spanish Club, Captain of the Color Guard, and I currently volunteer as a peer mentor as well as belong to Leadership Societies and an Honors Program.

All of these activities have taught me time management, effective communication techniques, how to multitask and prioritize, and much more.  I hope to leverage these skill sets to one day open my own event management Company.  I first fell in love with decorating, and creating crafts by helping my mother, who was an event/wedding planner in the Dominican Republic.  As a result, my passion for the industry started at the young age of five! I know I have a great deal of business management to learn, but I look forward to contributing to an events company and one day opening my own.
