Fatimata

I am from a part of the world where economic progress is being slowed down by the lack of infrastructure. This situation gave me the incentive to major in Engineering Science when I came to America, especially as it represented an opportunity I couldn’t get back home. I am going to school to be a mechanical engineer so I can return back home one day and help build up infrastructure and contribute to making people’s lives easier and better.

My ultimate goal in nearly everything I do is to the serve the community. I take pleasure in helping others and this is what I wish to devote my life to in the future.

I want to contribute to making this world a better place. I want to see people live better and I am eager to be a part of whatever can make it happen. So far I only have a vision, a dream. I have the desire to make myself useful and a strong will to make it happen but I don’t have a well-defined plan. I am counting on the mentorship and support America Needs You offers to receive the guidance I need in order to turn my dreams into reality.
