I’ve always loved numbers. As a young boy living in Pennsylvania I used to watch my father buy and sell stocks hoping that one day I could do the same. At age thirteen I moved to New York, but my love for numbers never diminished — it evolved. I excelled in all of my classes in high school, but in math I was preeminent. During my senior year I applied for college and was fortunate enough to get accepted into many schools, but choosing which college to attend was a difficult decision. Eventually, I decided that I would take advantage of my mathematical abilities and study finance at Baruch College.

In the future, I want to become a trading analyst and start my own stock trading business. I plan to give back, as well, by starting my own charity that will help the homeless. I’ve struggled my whole life, been through hard times, and even had to live in a shelter. I understand how onerous it can be to get back on your feet once you’ve been knocked down, so I want to help those people that need support.

As a determined college student with many goals, I hope that ANY will help me become the business man I need to be. After these two years in the Fellows Program, ANY will have given me the guidance and support to achieve these goals.
