Karen

Born in Hong Kong and raised in New York City, I have grown to love being a part of the financial centers of the world. My interest in the field of business was solidified through my participation in the High School FED Challenge where I worked closely with a team of six to analyze the economy and draft a proposal of action to Federal Reserve bankers. Currently, I attend Baruch College in Manhattan, New York in hopes of pursuing a career in business.

At the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch, I am studying Accounting because it will provide me with a foundation of business knowledge and the skills I need to build my career. Utilizing my resources at Baruch, I aspire to diversify my experiences, develop my professional self, and discover different career paths available to me. Throughout my first year, I took on different leadership roles as marketing associate and class historian to enhance my time management and communication skills in addition to improving student engagement on campus.

I feel fortunate to be an America Needs You Fellow. With ANY as my platform for growth, I look forward to further discovering myself and my interests with the help of my Mentor Coach.
