Kenneth

I currently attend Wilbur Wright College and after obtaining my associate in engineering sciences I will transfer to a 4-year institution to pursue my bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. My family immigrated here from Mexico and one of the things that they have preached time and time again is the value of an education. I have had to overcome many hurdles, even to this day, but I know that I will never falter because one look back at the long hours that my mother works is all I need to keep pushing myself forward.

I am employed as a math tutor at Wright College. It is a great job because it not only keeps my calculus sharp, but there is also great satisfaction in helping others. I have also worked as an electrical and mechanical assembler at a company named La Marche. This job is what sparked my interest in mechanical engineering as a way to learn more about the machines that I worked with and to identify ways to improve their processes.

I joined ANY to be a part of a community of incredibly motivated individuals. I’m a huge believer that you are only as good as the people you surround yourself with, and so I choose to surround myself with individuals of a high caliber. With the help of ANY and my Mentor Coach, I am confident that I will find success in achieving my professional goals.
