Being a first-generation college student from Indonesia has shaped who I am today. Realizing the sacrifices my parents made by immigrating to the United States instilled a passion within me to succeed in everything I do. Growing up in New York City has pushed me to limits that I did not know existed, but at the same time, inspired me to experience the motley cultures of the world in this city that never sleeps.

Currently, I am attending Baruch College where I intend to pursue a degree in Finance with a double minor in Mathematics and Music. I have always wanted to work in corporate America at a company changing industry standards. My love for mathematics will benefit me from an analytical standpoint while my musical background will allow me to be creative.

Aside from my educational pursuits, I enjoy playing tennis recreationally and competitively. Even though I am no Serena Williams, I can sure hit a ball. This sport has given me the resilience to come back from my failures as a stronger person. I also have a heart for teaching piano. I believe that music allows the individual to grow exponentially causing a ripple effect in all parts of one’s life.

It is a privilege to be a part of America Needs You. With a strong network, mentors from all walks of life and a growing ambition that is relentless, ANY pushes me to excel. This journey will be rigorous and rewarding. I gladly accept the challenge.
