I attend the City College of New York. I was born in Brooklyn and moved around the five boroughs before settling in Queens. Growing up, I dealt with bullying and various forms of social alienation. This helped me to become more resilient and pushed me to work hard. My current goal is to complete my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science but in the future I look forward to pursuing additional degrees in various fields of study.
My passion towards engineering began when I was 9 years old. It was after my mother introduced me to video games. I became fascinated with the inner workings of the console we had and it wasn’t long before I began deconstructing everything that I got my hands on. I was drawn towards the digital side of engineering, which made me realize that computer science would be the best major for me. I am creative and like to look for various solutions to a problem which is something that engineers do on a daily basis.
Being a part of America Needs You feels like an absolute blessing. While my goals may be a bit lofty, everyone here wants to see us succeed. By providing both advice and experience through mentorship and internships I look forward to achieving my goals as a professional and setting new goals for the future.
