My five older brothers and I grew up on the Southside of Chicago. Our family struggled financially and I quickly learned the importance of working hard and staying humble. As such, I do not take it for granted that I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to attend a prestigious university. I was taught from an early age to always remember your roots, which is why I am an active participant in my community where I aim to promote adult and child productivity by co-organizing a youth basketball group with over 100 teams.
As a competitive student, athlete and business-minded individual, I have always believed that in order to become the best you should surround yourself with the best. My goal is to one day work for a company with a large technological and social footprint so I can use that experience to make a difference in communities across the country through my passions for both technology and helping others.
As an ambitious student and community leader, I will benefit tremendously from ANY’s guidance. ANY will give me the skills I need to not only work hard, but to work smart. In addition, my Mentor Coach and the rest of ANY’s network will give me exposure to different career paths and trains of thought, thus better preparing me for the professional world ahead. I will never forget the opportunities I have been fortunate enough to have, and I look forward to building on my skills, relations, and passions with ANY.
