Born in the Bronx, my family taught me the value of hard work, obtaining an education and helping the people of my community. I attend Baruch College with an intended major in Finance and minor in Communications and Economics. I’m a leader both in and out of the classroom, as well as an active member in the Urban Male Leadership Scholars (UMLA) program at Baruch. Being part of this program means I have the opportunity to actively support individuals from the Black and Latino community and become an individual who can be seen as a role model.

Having a mom from Peru and a dad from Pakistan, I saw my parents work hard in order to support my family. This has motivated me to work as hard, so that one day I am able to support my immediate family while being able to start and support a family of my own. From reading newspapers with my family to keeping tabs on banks via social media, my goal is to eventually secure a job at a premier investment bank on Wall Street.

As a determined young adult, leader and student, ANY will instill in me the necessary skills to make an impact in whatever I set my mind to. Additionally, my Mentor Coach will help me further develop into a successful individual who can excel in the corporate world and achieve the goals that I have set out for myself. I am honored to be a 2016 New York Fellow!
