I am currently a student at Borough of Manhattan Community College where I study liberal arts. I am looking forward to earning a bachelor’s degree at a four-year college. I grew up in Ghana and moved to the United States a couple of years ago. Relocating to the U.S., I realized that my most valuable treasure is education and thus I am always motivated by Nelson Mandela’s quote “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
I love writing and like to inspire people with my words. In addition to writing, I am also intrigued by math and also love managing and organizing things. I have many interests and thus am open minded and interested in exploring many career opportunities, however I feel my skills and interest would be best utilized in the marketing field since it involves writing, managing and organizing information.
I am looking forward to the coaching and guidance ANY program will provide me and I am excited to learn more over the two years. I feel privileged to be a 2015 New York Fellow!
