Being an immigrant from the Dominican Republic and growing up in a single-parent household, I witnessed my mother struggle to provide for me and my brother. My mother encouraged me to study hard and earn a college education so that I could land a good-paying job in the future. Currently, I am attending Queensborough Community College, and I am planning to pursue a degree in Electronics Engineering and to graduate summa cum laude.
I am passionate about helping others and believe that an education in electronics will allow me to become an engineer and create the next big thing that will benefit mankind and revolutionize the world.
I am proud to be an ANY 2015 Fellow. I look forward to the opportunities that ANY will provide me to hone my communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills so that I can be successful in my life and career. I am excited to network with Mentor Coaches and other Fellows and tap into their expertise, experience, and counsel. I am highly appreciative of the support and resources that ANY and my Mentor Coach will provide me in the next two years.
