Forty-one years ago, at age of 17, my mother immigrated to the United States from Israel. She dreamed of a life filled with opportunity and education for her future children. Thanks to her ambitious decision, I’ve been fortunate enough to study at Brooklyn College where I plan to graduate with a dual bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics.

I’ve always loved computers. There’s no satisfaction like wrapping my head around complex computer concepts. Growing up, I built my own PC’s and even started a small technology business at the age of 14. Naturally, my passion led me to pursue a career in software engineering. In my spare time I code small programs, work for a start-up in New York City, and constantly improve my technical skills. I hope to one day create software that will innovate the way we live our lives, and change our world for the better; I joined ANY to help me achieve these goals.

As ambitious as I might be, I still have so much to learn. I wanted to extend my learning outside of the classroom. Having had mentors in the past, I know the value of experience. I can rest assured that my Mentor Coach will prepare me for the long road ahead. After my two years with ANY, I’ll be one giant step closer to making my own dreams a reality.
