Samantha

I am pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. I had the opportunity to volunteer and study in a medical mentorship at Trinitas Hospital, which initiated my interest in nursing and the medical field. Additionally, I started working at St. Barnabas Medical Center, which has validated my interest in public health by giving me a firsthand exposure to the healthcare system. I also have a deep passion for the French language and culture, which is an interest I have cultivated over the past eight years. This deep interest in French has encouraged me to join the French Club at Rutgers and to develop a passion for sharing with and teaching others about the French culture. Ultimately, I want to establish a career that combines my two passions in life, French culture and Public Health, by helping populations in French-speaking countries learn about and better understand their health.
