Moving to the United States at two years old, I witnessed my parents struggle financially to provide my siblings and me with vital resources to succeed academically and socially. Their persistence and dedication motivated me to work hard and pursue my aspirations to their fullest extent. I am now attending Baruch College, where I am working towards my Bachelor in Business Administration in Finance and Investments. Upon graduation, I hope to secure a position at a prestigious financial services firm.
I developed a curiosity for finance after studying the securities market in high school. I found it appealing, because it allowed me to apply my natural analytical ability, while simultaneously engaging in creative problem solving. At Baruch, I actively participate in an on-campus finance-oriented organization, where I not only expand my own understanding of the industry, but also assist other students by introducing them to the various career paths and sectors in finance.
Through America Needs You, I look forward to gaining valuable experience, support, and insight as I pursue my professional and personal goals. Given the vast amount of opportunities provided by the program, coupled with my strong work ethic and perseverance, I am confident that I will gain the skills and knowledge needed to become a successful 2015 Fellow!
