America Needs You is looking to engage professionals to support our Fellows through distinct mentoring opportunities.
Mentor Coaches are dynamic professionals from a variety of industries across the city leveraging their talent, networks and expertise to help college students achieve academic and career success. These amazing volunteers all share America Needs You vision and believe success is not merely defined by their professional achievements, but also by one’s dedication to give back to his or her community.
As a Mentor Coach, you attend Saturday Workshops and form a long-term, one-on-one mentoring relationship with a first-generation college student, while becoming part of a vibrant network of industry-diverse professionals. To apply to become a Mentor Coach, please click here.
Career Coaches are working professionals who volunteer for one-time or periodic opportunities, generally as a replacement for an absent Mentor Coach during Saturday Workshops.
To become a Career Coach, please fill out the Volunteer Interest and Skills Survey. Once complete, New York volunteers can view the workshop calendar and register for upcoming volunteer opportunities on the New York Career Coach Registration Page. California, Illinois and New Jersey volunteers can expect email invitations to workshop events following completion of the survey.
