Alison is the California Program Director at America Needs You. She oversees the career development component of the Kayne Scholar experience, including mentoring, internship partnerships, and career development workshops.
Previously, Alison was the Senior Project Manager with the Center for Supportive Schools. There, she built the capacity of school-based stakeholder teams to improve their school’s culture and climate and created meaningful opportunities for students and teachers to lead. Alison has also worked with Blue Engine, a college-readiness organization, first as an educator and later managing the development and implementation of a social-psychological skills curriculum.
Alison holds a master’s degree in Human Development and Social Intervention with a concentration in Education from New York University and bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Biology from the University of Toledo. She is a 2016-2017 Princeton AlumniCorps Emerging Leaders Fellow and a proud AmeriCorps VISTA alum.
