Dakota Foard is the New York Program Coordinator at America Needs You.
Dakota graduated with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she majored in Political Science and Psychology. While at UNC, Dakota was involved in student government as Chair of the Honor Court, where she worked extensively with fellow students as well as with faculty and staff. Dakota also volunteered with a local community organization facilitating a coping skills group for kids and teens in transitional housing. These experiences allowed her to develop a passion for working with youth from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Prior to joining ANY, Dakota worked in a research lab studying eating disorder recovery and later at a neuroscience company studying the effects of traumatic brain injury.
Dakota is originally from Atlanta, GA, and enjoys traveling, baking, and spending time outdoors.
